Available with Location Referencing license.
ArcGIS Roads and Highways allows you to upgrade a linear referencing system (LRS) dataset that is created in an earlier release of Roads and Highways.
If the LRS needs an upgrade, (Upgrade) appears next to it in the LRS hierarchy.
To upgrade an LRS dataset, complete the following steps:
- Access the LRS hierarchy.
- Run the Modify LRS tool to upgrade the LRS.
The LRS is upgraded.
