You are sharing a utility network or trace network as a feature layer that references registered data. You did not select the Only allow true curve updates by true curve clients option. When you share a utility network or trace network dataset as a feature layer, this setting is required.
The <value> is represented by the dataset type being published:
- Utility network
- Trace network
Choose to allow true curve updates by true curve clients only.
Hover over the analyzer message. Click the Options button that appears and click Show Feature Properties. On the Configuration tab , under Operations, confirm that the Enable editing and allow editors to and the Update check boxes are enabled. If necessary, click Attributes and geometry. Under Properties, confirm that the Allow update of true curves check box is enabled and check the Only allow true curve updates by true curve clients check box.
Editing true curves through a client that does not support true curves creates densified lines that are not supported by a utility or trace network. To ensure that true curves are maintained, only clients that support true curves are allowed to edit geometries that have true curves.
