00366: Layer's data source not configured for editing

You are sharing a web scene layer that references registered data with editing enabled. Global IDs and archiving must be enabled on the source feature class to edit the web scene layer. For general information on scene layer editing, see Edit a scene layer with associated feature layer. For information on archiving, see What is archiving.

Caution:

The following solutions require altering the schema of the source feature class. Ensure the database administrator is aware of these changes.

Solution 1

Complete the following steps to enable archiving:

  1. In the Catalog pane, in the Databases folder, expand the database containing the source feature class.
  2. Right-click the source feature class and click Manage.
  3. Click Enable Archiving.

Archiving is enabled on the feature class.

Solution 2

Complete the following steps to add global IDs to the source feature class:

  1. In the Catalog pane, in the Databases folder, expand the database containing the source feature class.
  2. Right-click the source feature class and click Manage.
  3. Click Add Global IDs.

Global IDs are added to the feature class.
