When publishing a geodata service from an enterprise geodatabase, only traditional versioned connections are supported. The current enterprise geodatabase connection file uses a branch versioned connection.
Solution
Ensure that the enterprise geodatabase connection file uses traditional versioning. Use the Geodatabase Connection Properties dialog box to change Versioning Type to Traditional or select a different enterprise geodatabase connection file with the appropriate versioning type.
