If you use editing templates that are stored in the database and you want to publish a web feature layer that allows users to add their own editing templates to the web feature layer that are stored in the database and manage them, the data must be stored in an enterprise geodatabase that is at version 11.3.x or later.
Solutions
Do one of the following:
- Contact your geodatabase administrator to determine whether the geodatabase can be upgraded to a supported version. Republish after the geodatabase is upgraded.
- If you have privileges to create data in an enterprise geodatabase that is already at version 11.3.x or later, copy the data to that geodatabase, add the copied data to the map, and republish.
- If you cannot store the data in an enterprise geodatabase that is at a supported version, disable the shared template editing operation before you share the web feature layer. This allows you to publish a web feature layer, but other users will not be able to add templates to the resultant web feature layer.
