You are sharing a web layer containing a layer or stand-alone table with date fields, but a time zone is not defined in the layer or stand-alone table properties.
This warning appears when sharing a web feature layer, map image layer, or map service to ArcGIS Online or an ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Server version (12.0 or later) that supports setting a time zone for each layer or table.
The <value> parameters refer to layer or stand-alone table.
Solutions
Do one of the following:
- Define a time zone for the layer or stand-alone table.
Hover over the analyzer message, click the Options button
that appears, and click Change Layer Time or Change Table Time. On the Layer Properties or Standalone Table Properties dialog box, on the Time tab and under Time Zone and Time Offset, click the Time Zone drop-down arrow and choose the appropriate time zone. For more information, see Set time properties on data. - If individual time zones for each layer or table in the map are not necessary, specify a time zone for the web layer.
On the Share As Web Layer pane, under Configuration, select Configure Parameters, and under Date Fields, click the Time zone of the data drop-down arrow, and choose the time zone in which the date values are stored.
- Do nothing. If you specify a time zone for the web layer, it will be honored; otherwise, no time zone will be set.
Certain layers, such as network analysis layers, have date fields but do not allow time zones to be set. Nothing needs to be done for those layers.
