AutoComplete Method (IGeometryEngine)

Constructs a polygon that fills in the gaps between the existing polygon and polyline.

Syntax

Polygon AutoComplete( 
   Polygon inputPolygon,
   Polyline completionLine
)

Function AutoComplete( _
   ByVal inputPolygon As Polygon, _
   ByVal completionLine As Polyline _
) As Polygon

The polygon representing the completed area. If or are empty, then null is returned.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	Either inputPolygonor completionLineor both are null.
System.NotImplementedException	The method is not implemented for GeometryBag.
System.ArgumentException	Spatial reference of inputPolygonis null.
