SetSelection Method (BasicFeatureLayer)

Sets the current selection of the basic feature layer. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

public void SetSelection( 
   Selection selection
)

   ByVal selection As Selection _

Exceptions

Exception	Description
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method or property must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run.

Remarks

This method only works with ObjectID-based selections.

The selection occurs regardless of the layer's IsSelectable state. IsSelectable applies only when interactively selecting features off a map view.
