Description
The field name you tried to add to the feature class or table is invalid and has been modified accordingly. Using invalid characters, such as spaces, in a field name is a common cause of this error.
Solution
If the validated name is acceptable, no action is required. To change the field name, use the Delete Field tool to remove the field, and try again using a valid field name.
