Description
This layout algorithm cannot complete in a reasonable time frame when applied to a large set of diagram edges.
Solution
Select a portion of the diagram if you have no selection set in the network diagram layer, and run the tool again so it processes only this diagram portion.
Reduce the diagram portion if you specified a selection set in the network diagram layer, and run the tool again.
