Description
A device feature was found that is not allowed to participate in the tier pursuant to the subnetwork definition. The subnetwork name with the invalid features is provided in the error.
Errors will be generated for the invalid device features when running the Update Subnetwork tool.
Solution
View the reported errors for invalid features and inspect the asset group and asset type.
To manually identify the asset groups and asset types that are invalid, perform a subnetwork trace on the subnetwork with the invalid device features. Use the selected features in the device feature class to compare the asset group and asset type combinations with the valid device features for the tier.
Use the network properties of the utility network to review the valid device features for the tier: Expand the drop-down menu next to the domain network, and expand Tiers. Review the asset group and asset type combinations in the Valid Devices column.
To resolve these errors, do one of the following:
- Change the asset group and asset type of the invalid feature.
- Change the subnetwork definition for the tier to include additional valid devices. See Set or modify the subnetwork definition for more information.
