Description
Every map has a spatial reference, which is defined in the map's properties. When a new layer is created, the layer's coordinate system is automatically set to match the spatial reference of the map by default.
If the output coordinate system does not match the coordinate system used in the map, graphics may draw in incorrect locations.
Solution
Before running the tool, set the Output Coordinate System environment to match the map's coordinate system.
