Grid levels affect the size of the hexagon grids used for sun map areas during analysis. Lower grid levels create larger sun map areas where the sun elevation and azimuth angles are used for the processing cells.

For analysis on the Earth's surface, specify a sun map grid level within the range from 5 to 7.
