Description
This failure may be returned for any number of reasons and is usually accompanied by another message that explains why it was returned. Some of the reasons this error may occur include the following:
- The LAS file is not valid or could not be edited due to file permissions.
- The LAS file cannot be accessed.
- Insufficient memory was available to process the LAS data.
- The projection was invalid or unsupported for the intended operation.
Solution
Review the accompanying message. If the issue involves file access, ensure that it is accessible to the computer. If the issue involves permissions, ensure that the file has write access for the user. If the file is corrupt, consider running the Check LAS utility available with 3D Samples.
