110222: Unable to estimate at least one local model due to multicollinearity (data redundancy).

Description

At least one local model could not be estimated because some of the Explanatory Variable(s) parameter values are highly correlated with each other.

This error will also occur if any of the explanatory variables contain a constant value in any of the local models.

Solution

Remove any Explanatory Variable(s) parameter values that are correlated with other explanatory variables. Use the Scatter plot matrix chart to find the correlated explanatory variables. Alternatively, increase the distance band or number of neighbors to increase the size of the local neighborhoods, which may increase the variation of the explanatory variables.

If the error still occurs, use the Neighborhood Summary Statistics tool to calculate local standard deviations of each explanatory variable to identify the local models that have no variation (standard deviation equal to 0).
