Description
To create strata sample counts proportionally to the strata area, the Shape_Area field must exist on the input study area.
Solution
Use the Add Geometry Attributes tool to create a field named Shape_Area that contains the area of each polygon.
Alternatively, copy the polygons to a file geodatabase feature class using the Export Features tool.
