- The pathway to a MFC dataset should be formatted such as c:\MyProjectFolder\MyMultifileFeatureConnection.mfc\MyDatasetName .
- The dataset name is spelled correctly.
- The dataset name uses the correct casing.
- If the dataset has been accidentally removed from the multifile feature connection, use the Refresh Multifile Feature Connection tool to reregister the dataset.
