This error typically occurs while mapping fields using Python when a noneditable field, such as a system field, is mapped.
This error is less likely to occur when running a tool in the Geoprocessing pane since noneditable fields cannot be mapped in that context.
For example, the Geoprocessing pane doesn't show noneditable fields in tools such as Append Events or Create LRS From Existing Dataset.
