Description

A lock typically means that another process or user is accessing the data, and there is a lock on the data that you are trying to access or modify. The tool could not obtain a lock to perform the operation.

Solution

Do the following:

  • Close any other applications or processes that may be accessing the data.
  • Determine whether other users are currently using the data.
  • Restart ArcGIS Pro and rerun the tool.
