180430: More than one Design Option from the same Option Set is selected.

Description

In Autodesk Revit, sets of design options may be created during the design phase of a construction project. Each option in a set has its own rooms, walls, doors, and other elements. For example, design option set ABC has Option 1 with a door positioned on the north wall of a room. In the same set ABC, Option 2 has the room but with the door positioned on the east wall. In the Revit drawing, each option has its own copy of the room and door elements. If both Option 1 and Option 2 are selected for import to ArcGIS Indoors, the room and door from Option 1 are imported as well as the room and door from Option 2.

Solution

After import, review the Units and Details features. If overlapping or redundant features are found, examine the Floorplan_Polygon and Floorplan_Polyline feature classes in a scene to determine which design option or options are contributing the unwanted features. To remove the unwanted features, re-import with only the necessary design options.
