Description
The CAD Annotation Mapping parameter includes mapping entity handles from the source CAD data, but one or more handles could not be mapped to the specified target field. This could be due to one of the following:
- The target field does not already exist in the Indoors workspace or is not a text field.
- Indoor features are created from more than one CAD entity. For example, units may be created by combining walls, windows, and doors. To map handles from CAD, each feature in the Indoors workspace must be represented by a single closed polyline in the CAD file.
Solution
Verify the following:
- The target field in the target indoor layer is of Text type.
- The target field exists in the Units, Facilities, or Levels layers in the Indoors workspace.
- The source CAD data contains polygons that have exactly one handle property.
- The source CAD data contains polylines that form closed polygons and does not have issues such as self-intersections, overshoots, or gaps.
