Resumen
Calculates the Green Vegetation Index for Landsat TM (GVITM) from a Landsat TM image and returns a raster object with the index values.
Debate
El Índice de vegetación verde (GVI) se diseño originalmente desde las imágenes Landsat MSS y se modificó para las imágenes Landsat TM. También se denomina índice de vegetación verde Landsat TM Tasseled Cap. Se puede utilizar con las imágenes cuyas bandas comparten las mismas características espectrales.

The referenced raster dataset for the raster object is temporary. To make it permanent, you can call the raster object's save method.
