Create Curved Approach

Creates curved approach obstacle identification surfaces (OIS) based on the supported specifications in ArcGIS Aviation. These curved approach surfaces are based on an input flight path and the information in the selected specification, for example, ICAO Annex 15, FAA 18B and classification. This tool creates surfaces in existing polygon or multipatch features.

FAA 13A

Creates obstruction identification surfaces (OIS) based on the FAA Advisory Circular 150/5300-13A specification. These approach and departure surfaces are designed to protect the use of the runway in both visual and instrument meteorological conditions near the airport and are used to support planning and design activities. The type, function, and dimension of a surface differ by its runway classification. This tool creates surfaces such as a polygon or multipatch features.

Creates obstruction identification surfaces (OIS) based on the FAA Advisory Circular 150/5300-18B specification. Generate OIS Intersection

Creates the most restrictive (lowest) surfaces within the extent of all collective surfaces. Obstruction identification surfaces (OIS) determine which objects are vertical obstructions. Unified Facilities Criteria

Creates obstruction identification surfaces based on the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-260-01 that is prescribed by MIL-STD 3007. These surfaces provide planning, design, construction, sustainment, restoration, and modernization criteria for the United States Department of Defense. Surfaces are created as polygon or multipatch features.
