Resumen
Calculates the volumetric and surface area between polygons of an input feature class and a TIN surface.
Heredado:
This is a deprecated tool. This functionality has been added to the Polygon Volume tool.
Uso
The input polygons and TIN need to overlap in horizontal extent in order for surface area or volume to be calculated.
Sintaxis
arcpy.3d.TinPolygonVolume(in_tin, in_feature_class, in_height_field, {reference_plane}, {out_volume_field}, {surface_area_field})
Parámetro | Explicación | Tipo de datos |
in_tin | The input TIN. | TIN Layer |
in_feature_class | The input polygon feature class. | Feature Layer |
in_height_field | The name of the field containing polygon reference plane heights. | String |
reference_plane (Opcional) | The keyword used to indicate whether volume and surface area are calculated ABOVE the reference plane height of the polygons, or BELOW. The default is BELOW. | String |
out_volume_field (Opcional) | The name of the output field used to store the volume result. The default is Volume. | String |
surface_area_field (Opcional) | The name of the output field used to store the surface area result. The default is SArea. | String |

Muestra de código
The following Python window script demonstrates how to use the TINPolygonVolume function in immediate mode.
import arcgisscripting
gp = arcgisscripting.create()
gp.workspace = "C:/data"
gp.TinPolygonVolume_3d("tin","PolyVol.shp", "Height", "ABOVE", "Volume", "S_Area")
