Add or remove an environment

Add an existing conda environment to the Package Manager page or remove an external environment.

Nota:

To create an environment by cloning an environment, see Clone an environment.

Add an environment

To add an environment, do the following:

  1. On the ribbon, click the Project tab.

    The settings page appears.

  2. In the list of side tabs, click Package Manager.

    The Package Manager page appears.

  3. Click the Environment Manager button Administrar.

    The Environment Manager dialog box appears.

  4. Click the Add existing environment button Add existing environment and browse to the existing environment folder.
  5. Click OK.

The environment is added.

Remove an environment

You can remove an external environment. External environments are noted with an External Environment icon Exportar.

Removing an environment only removes the environment from the Environment Manager dialog box. A removed environment will not be deleted. To delete an environment, see Delete an environment.

The default arcgispro-py3 environment and environments located in the %localappdata%\ESRI\conda\envs folder cannot be removed.

To remove an environment, do the following:

  1. On the ribbon, click the Project tab.

    The settings page appears.

  2. In the list of side tabs, click Package Manager.

    The Package Manager page appears.

  3. Click the Environment Manager button Administrar.

    The Environment Manager dialog box appears.

  4. Click the Remove button Eliminar on the row representing the environment you want to remove.

    Alternatively, right-click the row representing the environment, and select Remove.

    Only external environments can be removed. The row of an external environment is noted with an External Environment icon Exportar.

  5. Click OK.

The environment is removed.
