MSAVI

Résumé

Calculates the Modified Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index (MSAVI2) from a multiband raster object and returns a raster object with the index values.

Discussion

La méthode de l’indice modifié de végétation ajusté au sol (MSAVI2) minimise l’effet du sol nu sur l’indice de végétation ajusté au sol (SAVI).

MSAVI2 = (1/2) * (2 * (NIR +1) - sqrt((2 * NIR + 1)2-8(NIR - Red)))

For information about other multiband raster indexes, see the Band Arithmetic raster function.

The referenced raster dataset for the raster object is temporary. To make it permanent, you can call the raster object's save method.
