24171: User assigned unique related IDs will not be honored

You are attempting to share a web layer or table that participates in a relate. After setting unique static relate IDs in the layer or table's properties, and attempting to publish the layer or table, the warning is returned.

Unique relate IDs are not honored if:

  • You are attempting to share as a web feature layer that copies all data
  • You are attempting to share a layer or table to ArcGIS Server 11.2 or earlier

Solutions

To resolve this warning, do one of the following:

  • Share the layer or table as a map image layer, instead of a web feature layer that copies all data.
  • Share the layer or table to ArcGIS Server 11.3 or later.
  • If the relate is not needed, run the Remove Relate tool to remove the relate from the layer or table.
  • Do nothing. The relate IDs will be sequentially assigned by the server, and any manual assignments will be ignored.
