ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Administrator uses a database connection to access the Workflow Manager (Classic) repository. If you know the connection information for the repository to which you want to connect, you can create a new connection.
Before you begin, make sure that the portal that contains your Workflow Manager (Classic) repository has been added to ArcGIS Pro and that it has been set as the active portal.
- Start Workflow Manager (Classic) Administrator.
- Click Add Connection to add a new connection.
- Enter an alias and the connection information for the Workflow Manager (Classic) repository.
The connection information that is entered must have access to the JTX_DATABASES and JTX_LOGIN_INFO tables in the Workflow Manager (Classic) repository and, if you are setting up the connection for the first time, you must also have access to all the other Workflow Manager (Classic) system tables.
メモ:
Connection information is stored on the client machine in a Workflow Manager (Classic) connection (.jtc) file. The connection file is stored in the C:\ProgramData\ESRI\WMX\Pro\Database folder.
- Click the Database drop-down arrow and choose the database that contains the Workflow Manager (Classic) system tables.
- Click OK.
If the information you've entered is the same as how you would like your users to connect to the Workflow Manager (Classic) repository when accessing it, skip steps 6 through 11.
- If you want to configure different connection properties for accessing the Workflow Manager (Classic) repository, select the new Workflow Manager (Classic) database node that was created, right-click it, and click Connect.
- Right-click the database node again, and click User Properties.
The Workspace Properties dialog box appears with an alias of Workflow Manager (Classic) system database.
- Enter the connection properties you want to use when users connect to the repository.
The connection properties entered for the Workflow Manager (Classic) system database connection must have read and write access to all the Workflow Manager (Classic) system tables.
メモ:
The connection properties entered on this dialog box will be stored in the Workflow Manager (Classic) repository and do not have to match the connection properties entered when the Workflow Manager (Classic) database connection was initially created.
- Click the Authentication Type drop-down arrow and choose the type of authentication you want to use to connect to the Workflow Manager (Classic) database.
If you choose the Database authentication option, enter a user name and password (and choose a database if your configuration uses SQL Server) that has access to all the Workflow Manager (Classic) system tables. If you choose the Operating system authentication option, ensure that all users accessing the database have access to all the Workflow Manager (Classic) system tables. If you choose the Each user will connect with their own database login option, you will need to add connection properties for each user.
- If you chose the Each user will connect with their own database login option, add connection properties for each user.
- Click Add to add connection properties to the Workflow Manager (Classic) system tables for each user.
The Individual Login Properties dialog box appears.
- Select or type in the user name in the Username text box and enter the login information in the User Name and Password text boxes.
- Click Add to add connection properties to the Workflow Manager (Classic) system tables for each user.
- Click OK.
