Single Use licensing

A Single Use license authorizes one person to use ArcGIS Pro. That person can use the software on one computer at a time, while having it installed on a maximum of two computers. A Single Use license does not require signing in to an ArcGIS organization to use the software.

ArcGIS Pro Single Use licenses can be obtained through Named User license conversion if the ArcGIS Pro license is part of an ArcGIS Desktop Single Use deployment. Licenses are converted in My Esri by ArcGIS software license administrators. ArcGIS Pro Named User licenses that are acquired as GIS Professional user types or as add-on licenses can't be converted to Single Use licenses.

Note:

A Single Use license is a license type. It is not the same as ArcGIS for Personal Use or ArcGIS for Student Use, which are special offerings of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online software. ArcGIS for Personal Use and ArcGIS for Student Use are authorized with Named User licenses.
