获得 Business Analyst 许可后可用。
Business Analyst data is available through a portal connection, such as ArcGIS Online, or by selecting a local dataset as the data source. When you select the current data source, you specify for Business Analyst which data to use, as well as the workflows and tools you can run. For example, to perform target marketing, your data source must contain segmentation data.
Select a local Business Analyst dataset as the data source
To select a local Business Analyst dataset, do the following:
- On the Analysis tab, click Business Analysis to open the gallery, and click Change data source.
- In the Business Analyst Data Source dialog box, click Computer.
- Browse to and select a local Business Analyst dataset—for example, USA_ESRI_2023.
- Click OK.
Select a portal or ArcGIS Online data source
You can select an enterprise or online GeoEnrichment service as the Business Analyst data source through a portal connection:
- Sign in to your organization.
Once signed in to your ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise organization, you can access data through the portal. The portal must have ArcGIS GeoEnrichment Service installed and configured.
- On the Analysis tab, click Business Analysis to open the gallery, and click Change data source.
- On the Business Analyst Data Source dialog box, click Portal.
- Select a continent or region and then choose a country.
Some countries support more than one data source. For example, the United States has multiple years of data vintages, as well as a Landscape dataset.
- Click OK.
Access custom data
If you created a Statistical Data Collection using a local dataset, you must set the data source to the corresponding dataset in order to use the custom data. If you created custom data without a local dataset on your machine, you must use the Custom Data folder as the data source.
To set the data source for accessing custom data, do the following:
- On the Analysis tab, click Business Analysis to open the gallery, and click Change data source.
- On the Business Analyst Data Source dialog box, click Computer.
- Select the data source by doing one of the following:
- If you created a Statistical Data Collection using a locally stored or installed dataset, select the dataset that was used to create the Statistical Data Collection.
- If there is no locally stored or installed data on your machine, select Custom Data.
- Click OK.
Select a data source temporarily
You can set the data source for a single use of a tool or workflow without changing the overall Business Analyst data source. To temporarily select a data source, do the following:
- Open a tool or workflow.
- In the Geoprocessing pane, click the Environments tab.
- In the Business Analyst section, under Data Source, click Browse.
- Follow any of the above instructions to select a data source.
