Access Business Analyst workflows and tools

All geoprocessing tools are available in the Business Analyst and Territory Design toolboxes. A subset of popular tools and workflows are available from the Business Analysis workflow gallery on the Analysis tab on the ribbon.

Access workflows from the Business Analysis gallery

The Business Analysis gallery includes a curated set of workflows, including common analyses, setting the data source, and creating custom data. Many of the workflows in the gallery are entry points to common geoprocessing tools.

To access Business Analyst workflows, do the following:

  1. On the Analysis tab, in the Workflows group, click Business Analysis to open the workflow gallery.
  2. Choose a workflow from the available categories.

    提示:

    You can click the Filter option in the gallery to hide and show individual categories.

Access tools from the Geoprocessing pane

To access Business Analyst tools and workflows, do the following:

  1. On the Analysis tab, in the Geoprocessing group, click Tools to open the Geoprocessing pane.
  2. Click the Toolboxes tab to find the Business Analyst Tools and Territory Design Tools toolboxes.
  3. For Business Analyst tools, click the Business Analyst Tools toolbox to access the following toolsets:
  4. For Territory Design tools, click the Territory Design Tools toolbox to access the following toolsets:
  5. Optionally, you can find the specific tool you want to use by using the search field in the Geoprocessing pane.

Access Business Analyst workflows and files through the Catalog pane

You can access Business Analyst workflows and files through the Catalog pane. The Project and Portal tabs provide shortcuts to common Business Analyst tasks, files, and outputs.

Project tab

The Project tab allows you to add and create Business Analyst items, such as variable lists and target marketing items. To access these options, do the following:

  1. Open the Catalog pane by clicking the View tab on the ribbon, and click Catalog Pane in the Windows group.
  2. On the Project tab, right-click the Business Analyst folder to open the contextual menu.

    The Business Analyst folder only appears in the Project pane if you have created Business Analyst items in your project.

  3. Hover over Add or New to select from the options for adding or creating items in your project.

Portal tab

The Portal tab allows you to access Business Analyst items, such as infographic and report templates and territory solutions. This content syncs to your portal. To access Business Analyst items in your portal, do the following:

  1. Open the Catalog pane by clicking the View tab on the ribbon, and click Catalog Pane in the Windows group.
  2. Click the Portal tab.

    Your Business Analyst and Community Analyst content is stored in folders beginning with BA and CA. There are also ArcGIS Pro-specific folders:

    • Custom Data—Stores custom data you have created in ArcGIS Pro.
    • Report Templates—Stores infographic and report templates that can be imported to ArcGIS Pro.
    • Territory Design—Stores territory solutions shared in ArcGIS Pro.

Access data through the Connections menu

You can connect to Statistical Data Collections using the Connections menu on the Insert tab in ArcGIS Pro. To add or create a Statistical Data Collection through this menu, do the following:

  1. Click the Insert tab on the ribbon, and click Connections in the Project group.
  2. Hover over Statistical Data Collection and choose to add or create a Statistical Data Collection.
