Zusammenfassung

Calculates the Green Vegetation Index for Landsat TM (GVITM) from a Landsat TM image and returns a raster object with the index values.

Diskussion

Die Methode "Green Vegetation Index (GVI)" wurde ursprünglich aus Landsat-MSS-Bilddaten entworfen und wurde für Landsat TM-Bilddaten geändert. Er wird auch als Landsat TM Tasseled Cap Green Vegetation Index bezeichnet. Er kann mit Bilddaten verwendet werden, deren Bänder die gleichen Spektraleigenschaften aufweisen.

The referenced raster dataset for the raster object is temporary. To make it permanent, you can call the raster object's save method.
