ArcGIS Pro 2.8 API Reference Guide
CreateLineSegment(LineSegment,SpatialReference) Method
Example

ArcGIS.Core.Geometry Namespace > LineBuilder Class > CreateLineSegment Method : CreateLineSegment(LineSegment,SpatialReference) Method
The existing line segment.
(Optional) The SpatialReference. The default value is null. If spatialReference is null, then the spatial reference is inherited from lineSegment.
Convenience method to create a new instance of the LineSegment class.
Syntax
Public Overloads Shared Function CreateLineSegment( _
   ByVal lineSegment As LineSegment, _
Optional ByVal spatialReference As SpatialReference _
) As LineSegment

Parameters

lineSegment
The existing line segment.
spatialReference
(Optional) The SpatialReference. The default value is null. If spatialReference is null, then the spatial reference is inherited from lineSegment.

Return Value

Exceptions
ExceptionDescription
lineSegment is null.
Remarks
The new instance will be a copy of the input LineSegment instance.
