GetAssetType Method

Gets an AssetType object with the specified name. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

public AssetType GetAssetType( 
   string assetTypeName
)

The AssetType that corresponds to .

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentException	assetTypeName is null or an empty string. -or- There is no AssetType that corresponds to assetTypeName.
ArcGIS.Core.Data.Exceptions.GeodatabaseException	A geodatabase-related exception has occurred.

Remarks

The string comparison used to find the name is case-insensitive.
