ArcGIS Pro is available at three license levels:
- Basic
- Standard
- Advanced
Core functionality is available with a Basic license. The Standard and Advanced licenses provide additional functionality in specialized areas.
The following tables describe functionality that requires a Standard or Advanced license. An Advanced license provides access to all the functionality available with a Standard license and more. A green check mark () in a column means the indicated license is required to access the functionality.
Note:
The following tables are a general guide. A Standard or Advanced license may be required for some functionality not listed here. Help pages for specific operations and functions indicate when a Standard or Advanced license is required.

Geoprocessing tools
Geoprocessing toolboxes are listed in the following table with general indications of licensing requirements. To see the license requirements for individual tools, click the link in the Reference column. The license requirement is a minimum requirement. Any tool can be run with a license level that exceeds its required license.
A green check mark in a column means that one or more tools in the toolbox require the indicated license.
If a toolbox is not listed in the table, this means either that all its tools can be run with a Basic license or that all its tools require an extension license.
Some tools that require a Standard or Advanced license can be run with a Basic license and an appropriate extension product. In this table, those tools are treated as requiring a Standard or Advanced license.
Note:
Some tools have license requirements for specific parameters that are different from the tool license. This table does not consider license requirements for parameters.
