SetName Method (Map)

Updates the name of the map. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

public void SetName( 
   string name
)

Public Sub SetName( _
   ByVal name As String _
)

Exceptions

Exception	Description
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method or property must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run.

Example

Change the Map name

////Note: call within QueuedTask.Run()
MapView.Active.Map.SetName("Test");

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10
