UpdateItem Method

Updates a style item from a style. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

public static void UpdateItem( 
   StyleProjectItem styleProjectItem,
   StyleItem item
)

Public Shared Sub UpdateItem( _
   ByVal styleProjectItem As StyleProjectItem, _
   ByVal item As StyleItem _
)

styleProjectItem: The StyleProjectItem from which StyleItem will be updated.
item: The StyleItem to be updated.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run
System.InvalidOperationException	Updating an item cannot be performed on a read-only style.
System.InvalidOperationException	The item could not be updated. The key may not be unique.
