3D layers such as Gaussian splat layers or 3D tiles layers support an ellipsoidal vertical coordinate system in WGS84 as defined in the OGC 3D tiles specification. ArcGIS applications such as Scene Viewer and ArcGIS Earth only support gravity-related coordinate systems. To draw the web scene in one of these applications, the Gaussian splat or 3D tiles layer is transformed to a gravity-related vertical coordinate system such as EGM96.
Solution
No action is needed, as the 3D layer is automatically transformed to a gravity-related vertical coordinate system.
