Configure a video layer

Before you share a video layer, you can configure the resolution of the video.

To modify the default configuration of a video layer, complete the following steps:

Note:
To begin the sharing process, set general properties, and finish sharing, see Share a video layer.

  1. If necessary, open the Share As Web Layer pane.
  2. Click the Configuration tab.
  3. Optionally, choose the resolutions for the video:

    OptionDescription
    Standard Definition (850 x 480)

Basic clarity, suitable for web streaming or small displays. Use this option for reduced file size and bandwidth usage, which are ideal for mobile streaming on limited data plans or slow connections.

    High Definition (1280 x 720)

Provides sharpness and noticeable detail for general-purpose use. This option is a good balance between quality and performance. It is widely used for online platforms.

    Full High Definition (1920 x 1080)

High clarity, best for large screens and professional content. It is suitable for high-quality productions when text legibility, detail, and sharp visuals are important.

If no resolution is selected, the standard definition resolution (850 x 480) is used.
