002965: Record ObjectID = <value> from the '<value>' input feature class has no Country information. The value selected for Country will be used: '<value>'.

Description

A valid country code value was not defined for each feature in the reference data. The country code value is essential when building a locator with reference data in multiple countries so that the country-specific addressing formats are honored to prevent incorrect assignment of country in geocode results.

If you defined a country code by selecting the <As defined in data> option for the Country or Region parameter and you mapped a field from the data to the Country Code locator role field in Field Mapping, the field in the data cannot be empty for any records in the dataset.

Solution

If all records in the data are in the same country and the country is available in the Country or Region parameter drop-down list, select the country for this parameter instead of selecting <As defined in data>. This applies the correct country code to every record in the data.

If the records in the data are in more than one country, you must add the missing three-character country codes to the records where this field is empty or missing. A list of supported countries and codes is available in the Supported Country Codes column referenced in the Geocode coverage map.
