ArcGIS Pro is available at three license levels:
- Basic
- Standard
- Advanced
Core functionality is available with a Basic license. The Standard and Advanced licenses provide additional functionality in specialized areas.
The following tables describe functionality that requires a Standard or Advanced license. An Advanced license provides access to all the functionality available with a Standard license and more. A green check mark () in a column means the indicated license is required to access the functionality.
Note:
The following tables are a general guide. A Standard or Advanced license may be required for some functionality not listed here. Help pages for specific operations and functions indicate when a Standard or Advanced license is required.

Geoprocessing tools
Geoprocessing toolboxes are listed below. A green check mark in a column means that at least one tool in the toolbox requires the indicated license. A green check mark in both columns means that at least one tool requires a Standard license, and at least one tool requires an Advanced license. A green circle with a white check mark () means that all tools in the toolbox require the indicated license.
Any tool that requires a Standard license can also be run with an Advanced license. To see which tools require a Standard or Advanced license, click the link in the Reference column to open the toolbox licensing help topic.
If a toolbox does not appear in the table, this means one of the following:
- All tools in the toolbox can be run with a Basic license.
- The tools in the toolbox can only be run with an extension product.
Note:
Some tools that can be run with a Standard or Advanced license can also be run with a Basic license and an appropriate extension.
