Configure a Gaussian splat layer

Before you share a Gaussian splat layer, you can configure the temporary cache location.

To modify the default configuration of a Gaussian splat layer, complete the following steps:

To begin the sharing process, set general properties, and finish sharing, see Share a Gaussian splat layer.

You can also configure a Gaussian splat layer when you configure a web scene. The information in this topic also applies in that situation.

1. Open the Share As Web Layer pane, and on the General tab, confirm that the layer type is Gaussian Splat.
2. Click the Configuration tab.

   The Gaussian splat layer is always cached locally.

3. Accept the default Temp cache location value, which is determined by your share and download options settings, or browse to and select a different location.
