Description
This error occurs when creating a geodatabase replica in a branch versioned workspace. Geodatabase replication is only supported with traditional versioned workspaces when using enterprise geodatabases.
Solution
When creating a geodatabase replica, if you are connecting to an enterprise geodatabase, ensure that the workspace is using traditional versioning. This is set in Geodatabase Connection Properties for the database connection.
