ArcGIS acknowledgements

The acknowledgements for ArcGIS can be found on the Esri legal website.

Removal and deprecation notices

Notices are released when it is determined that functionality will be removed from a future version of ArcGIS Pro. The notices describe what will be removed, so you can evaluate whether your workflows will be affected; alternative functionality, so you can find other ways to reach the same or similar results; and when the removal will occur, if known. You can browse ArcGIS Pro deprecation notices by release on the technical support website.

Functionality removed at ArcGIS Pro 3.1

The following subsections note functionality that was removed at ArcGIS Pro 3.1.

ArcGIS Pro Intelligence

ArcGIS AllSource has replaced ArcGIS Pro Intelligence. Between the ArcGIS Pro 2.6 and 3.0 releases, ArcGIS Pro Intelligence could be installed in addition to, or instead of, ArcGIS Pro. These options were removed at ArcGIS Pro 3.1. ArcGIS AllSource is a stand-alone product with its own installer.

Image service limits in geoprocessing

Using image services as input to geoprocessing tools respects the service's maxImageHeight and maxImageWidth, which determine the maximum number of rows and columns that the service allows in a client request. If the limit is exceeded, the geoprocessing tool will fail with Error 001491.

Functionality that will be removed in future releases

The following subsections note functionality that is scheduled to be removed in a release after ArcGIS Pro 3.1.

Preset layers

The Add Preset layer gallery was deprecated in the ArcGIS Pro 3.0 release. You can draw preset layers from ArcGIS Pro 2.9 and earlier versions, but you can no longer create or modify them. See the Add Preset Gallery Deprecation notice for additional information.

Network Analyst

Using VBScript in network analyst Field Script and Element Script evaluators will be removed from ArcGIS Pro in a future release. You will need to replace VBScript evaluators with Python ones.
