Customize presentation properties

You can view and change the appearance and functionality properties for a presentation from the Presentation Properties dialog box.

The pages and elements in a presentation have their own set of properties separate from the presentation properties.

To update presentation properties, do the following:

  1. Right-click the top node of the presentation in the Contents pane.

    This node is the presentation name and all pages are below this node.

  2. On the Presentation Properties dialog box, change the available properties on any of the property tabs:
    • General——Use this tab to update the name of the presentation.
    • Metadata—Use this tab to record additional information about the presentation, such as credits, description, and terms of use.
    • Page Setup—Use this tab to customize the default units and the size for the pages in the presentation. The size displays both the screen size aspect ratio and the corresponding width and height values, for example, the page size in inches. Changes to the page units for the presentation are also reflected in the ruler units.
    • Color Management—Use this tab to change the color model and color profile the presentation uses to display color. This is often used to assist in color matching across devices and in printing workflows.
