ArcGIS Pro keyboard shortcuts

ArcGIS Pro keyboard shortcuts help you run user interface commands more quickly. Open a PDF of all default ArcGIS Pro shortcuts.

You can customize keyboard shortcuts by changing the keystrokes associated with commands, adding new shortcuts, or removing shortcuts you don't need.

Global keyboard shortcuts

The following default keyboard shortcuts are available in most or all active states of ArcGIS Pro:

Open a project.

Ctrl+N

Create a project.

Ctrl+S

Save the project.

Ctrl+M

Open a new map.

F1

Open the help system to the default home page or context-sensitive help for a tool.

Ctrl+F1

Show or hide the ribbon.

F12

Open the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box.

Ctrl+Z

Undo a change.

Ctrl+Y

Redo a change.

Ctrl+C

Copy the selected item to the clipboard.

Ctrl+X

Cut the selected item.

Ctrl+V

Paste the selected item from the clipboard.

Delete

Delete the selected item.

Ctrl+Alt+P

Copy the path of the selected item to the clipboard.

Ctrl+P

Open the Print pane to print a map or layout.

Ctrl+E

Open the Export pane to export a map, layout, or report.

Alt+L

Open the Sign-In Status menu.

Alt+W

Open the Notifications pane.

Alt+Q

Search for a command.

Ctrl+Alt+M

Open Diagnostic Monitor.

Ctrl+G

Group the selected elements.

Ctrl+Shift+G

Ungroup the selected group.
